Last night, I went to Mellow Mushroom, a pizza place with, “chill vibes,” something the youths seem to enjoy. Anyway, I peeped this bomb ass Audi RS4, on dealer plates. Haven’t seen one of these in quite a while.
Also, my calzone was pretty awesome.

I take it you’re in the southeast? Mellow Mushroom opened a shop in Chattanooga a couple years before I moved away. Pretty good for a pizza chain.

Is that what The youths are into these days ? Did you then instatweet the pizza to your group of like minded compatriots? On the subject of the RS4, I’ve been seeing more and more of them it seems. Definitely cool either way.

Wow, Mellow Mushroom calzones were like a weekend staple for me in college, 1996-2001 (that was two degrees, don't be judgmental). I think I've been maybe twice since then. They were the gourmet pizza chain before gourmet pizza was everywhere. Glad to see most locations are still holding on. Because everyone needs a giant calzone and craft beer served by long-bearded college hippies. It's part of life.

Our waiter had a short beard, and I was confused. This is the downtown Raleigh location, and it’s one of the oldest. Love MM, it’s so good.

I’ve seen two RS4s in the wild over the years, one ice blue and the other black. Both were traveling with other cars.

As long as the guys behind the counter had 3" beards or longer, it's all good. Waiters have more leeway there.

My sister used to have a MM right across the street from her old apartment in Cincinnati and it was awesome. Their calzones would last me 2 days. I kind of wish we had one here in Chicago but the pizza market is saturated as it is.

It’s hard having a beard in the food service industry. I tried growing one when I worked at Chick-Fil-A, and they didn’t let me. Now that I have quit, there is suddenly hair on my face.
